Recommendation for storage: store the piece outside its packaging in a cool and dry place. The ham is placed on the ham holder and cut into thin slices from the less thick area called babilla. After each cut, the cut area is covered with leftover fat to avoid drying out and moisture loss. The ham should also be completely covered with a cloth for better storage. Recommendation for consumption – it is not recommended to consume the ham from the fridge as it loses aromas and taste. It should be brought to room temperature before being served. The optimal serving temperature is 20º-25º. Texture and colour – red colour with shiny white fat veins. The fat gives it a juicy and creamy consistency. Taste and aroma – Intense aroma, melts in the mouth, gentle taste with sweet notes and light of oleic acid and nuts. Ripening time – more than two years of maturation in natural dryers – gluten-free and lactose-free Ingredients - Iberian ham from Cebo de Campo, salt, dextrose, antioxidant E-331 and preservatives E-250 and E-252.
