Forest Food Shop Collects the chanterelles directly from our local mushroom pickers and dries them immediately. In this way, we ensure high product quality, as the period between harvesting the mushrooms and drying is very short. Chanterelles are dried at low temperature and with air circulation to preserve their natural taste and aroma. This drying method with air circulation at low temperatures is particularly beneficial - more nutrients are retained and the colour remains almost natural. Slow dried chanterelles last much longer than fresh chanterelles. In addition, slow dried chanterelles retain most nutrients and taste great in dishes where you would normally use fresh chanterelles. Chanterelles are picked by hand in Lithuania, dried and carefully packaged according to European Union standards. Chanterelles are carefully sorted and packaged in transparent, recyclable packaging material.
