"Extra virgin olive oil produced in Los Navalmorales (Toledo) with olives of the Picual variety. It is an extra virgin olive oil harvested at its optimum ripening moment, giving rise to an exceptional complexity of aromas. To select this optimal ripening moment, field follow-ups are carried out, analyzing the fruits of different plots, from which only the best parameters show are selected. The objective is the pursuit of excellence, combining an exhaustive olive grove management throughout the year to obtain an olive with excellent characteristics, and a control of all the basic operations of the mill production process. On the nose you can see an intense green fruity of olive, with notes of freshly cut grass, olive leaf, tomato, artichoke, green apple, green banana and green almond. In the mouth it is an oil with a lot of body, characterized by its tradition of bitterness and itching excellently balanced. The intensity of the green fruity is in balance with the green flavor and with the presence in the retro-nasal pathway of all the initial olfactory notes. Pairing: Its balance of clean, fresh and fruity nuances make it an extra virgin olive oil perfect for all types of uses. It is highly recommended for frying, since the Picual variety maintains its properties at high temperatures. It is also recommended for use in red meats or stews and as a dressing in salads or toast. More than 70 national and international awards accredit the quality of Finca La Pontezuela extra virgin olive oil. Its monovarietal Hojiblanca has received the First Mario Solinas Prize in the Small Producers Category and has also been awarded in Evooleum and Iberoleum
