Bernkasteler yeast is a type of yeast specially used for the fermentation of high-quality wines, especially in the Bernkastel region of Germany. These yeast strains are selected for their ability to enhance the taste profile and aroma of the wines, especially the Riesling, which is the dominant grape variety in this region. One bottle is enough for 100 litres. Recommendation: for grapes, apples, apricots, rose hips, currants, cherries, plums, rhubarb, gooseberries. Fermentation temperature: 10°C - 25°C The yeast can ferment up to 18%. 5 x bottles of liquid yeast, 28 ml 1 x bag of oak chips (20g): Medium toasted French oak, which enriches the wine with aromas of caramel, toffee, vanilla and sweetness.
