Assmannshausener yeast is a type of yeast specially used for the fermentation of high-quality red wines, especially in the Assmannshausen region in Germany. These yeast strains are selected for their ability to enhance the taste profile and aroma of red wines, especially of Pinot Noir, which is a significant grape variety in this region. One bottle is enough for 50 litres. Recommendation: for grapes, apples, apricots, rose hips, currants, cherries, plums, rhubarb, gooseberries. Fermentation temperature: 10°C - 25°C The yeast can ferment up to 18%. 5 x bottle of liquid yeast 1 x bag of oak chips (20g): Medium toasted French oak, which enriches the wine with aromas of caramel, toffee, vanilla and sweetness.
