Tirrena Frescobaldi Spaghetti is handcrafted and 100% Tuscany. Pasta Tirrena was born in the best terroir for the cultivation of ancient grains, thanks to the symbiosis of fresh soils, mild climate and breezes of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The mineral characteristics of the soil, combined with the knowledge of the Frescobaldi family, give this paste a unique character. It is a semi-wholemeal pasta of durum wheat semolina, unrefined obtained from ancient grains, rich in fiber, polyphenols and vitamins and highly digestible. The varieties of grains used are Senatore Cappelli, Khorasan and Evoldur. The paste is drawn into bronze and then slowly dried at temperatures below 38°C from a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 6 days. In addition to the characteristic hazelnut colour and wheat scent, it gives them a high digestibility and an extraordinary ability to absorb condiments.
