The premium ginseng oolong (also Lan Gui Ren or Ren Shen) comes from the Chinese province of Hunan and is based on a high-quality green oolong to which small amounts of powdered ginsengs and licorice are added. Only the youngest tea establishments are "enveloped" after wilting and rolling with a fine paste made from the aforementioned ingredients and then dried. Visually, the whole thing is reminiscent of small rolled and then pressed olive green tea bits/nuggets. The cast is gold-green, whereby the "additives" enhance the delicately soft, slightly sweet taste. Can be brewed several times, but the first two infusions are the best..
