VATER Hickory 52nd Street Jazz Wood

American Hickory: The Powerhouse is made from North American hickory wood. The material is denser, harder and heavier than maple, while also being more elastic than oak. Hickory absorbs a large part of the vibration energy on impact and is dried to a residual moisture of 10 to 12 percent. Dimensions: The Powerhouse is 16.25 inch / 41.27 cm long and has a diameter of 0.620 inch / 1.57 cm. This makes it thicker than a 5B. The combination of length and strong diameter determines this model's solid design. Strong shoulder: The model has a particularly strong shoulder. Together with the large acorn-shaped tip, this forms the characteristic construction of the Powerhouse and supports its design for powerful playing. Large acorn tip: The tip is made of wood and has a large acorn shape. The distinctive tip shape complements the robust shoulder and the diameter of 1.57 cm. Precise production: The drumsticks are computer-controlled turned and precisely ground. A computer system analyses weight, timbre or frequency and balance. Only correspondingly matched sticks are paired up.
