TERRAMASTER D8 Hybrid HDD NVMe Enclosure USB 3.2 Gen 2 10Gbps Type C 8Bay Storage Supports RAID 0/1/Single/JBOD Exclusive 2+6 Disk Array (Diskless)

Innovative Capacity - The first 8-cavity hybrid housing for HDD and NVMe SSD. It can hold 4 SATA HDD/SSD drives and 4 M.2 2280 NVMe SSD. With a capacity of up to 24 TB per HDD and 8 TB per drive, the M.2 SSD offers users a total of up to 128 TB of space (24 TB × 4 + 8 TB × 4), combining the advantages of enormous HDD capacity and high speed SSD. The included free TERRAMASTER TPC Backupper software allows you to easily schedule backup your important data, increasing your security. 10Gbps Bandwidth - The enclosure uses USB 3.2 Gen2 protocol for fast data transmission of up to 10Gbps. With two drives in 1 and 2 sockets configured in RAID 0, the read/write speed can reach up to 521MB/s (for 8TB × 2 NAS SATA III NAS). With two SSDs in RAID 0, the read speed is up to 960MB/s (for 1TB x 2 NAS SSDs) and up to 980MB/s NVMe M.2 drives. UNIQUE RAID 2+6 MODE - This external USB device supports hardware RAID. Drive in 1 and 2 sockets can be configured as RAID 0, RAID 1, single drive or JBOD, while drives in 3 and 4 sockets and M.2 2280 NVMe SSDs can work as independent media. This means that the device meets the diverse needs of users better and provides the highest level of data security. Easy disk change: The M.2 SSD housing features tool-free disc pockets for quick installation and removal without tools. In addition, the RAID housing has a new proprietary push lock system from TERRAMASTER, which automatically locks the pocket when the disc is inserted, preventing it from slipping out or accidentally disconnecting. Better heat dissipation - The HDD housing has an intelligent quiet temperature controlled fan that automatically adjusts the speed of rotation to the temperature of the discs. This makes the drives work at an optimal temperature and the cooling is more efficient.
