The Slash 2.0 set is based on its signature APH-2 pickups, now with a more powerful winding that delivers the familiar sound Slash loves, pushing his amps with the perfect balance of volume, gain and compression. Short mounting legs, 4-core cable and Trembucker spacing Slash's signature humbucker set has been enjoyed by fans and Slash himself for over a decade. During numerous world tours, the need for a more powerful version for live has emerged. In partnership with Seymour Duncan, Slash created the 2.0 to deliver "same hue, same clarity… but more powerful" than APH-2. Based on the latter, the 2.0 has a stronger winding that maintains the familiar sound of Slash, perfectly balancing volume, drive and compression. Slash 2.0 humbuckers are hand built in Santa Barbara in the same way we made the originals in the 1980s, with a nickel plated silver bottom plate with long mounting legs, single braided conductor cable, maple spacer, paper tape and wax impregnation. We also offer some of our most popular modern options: short mounting legs, 4-core cable and Trembucker spacing.
