Developed on the basis of many years of Puig experience in top-level sports, the R-Racer disc is the result of collaboration with leading MotoGP and WorldSBK teams, providing a sporty windshield for riders seeking aerodynamic performance, precision and racing aesthetics. Their aerodynamic design has been optimised using virtual wind tunnel studies and achieves an improvement in the drag coefficient compared to the original windscreen. The raised design deflects the airflow away from the helmet and the shoulders of the rider. Developed and manufactured in Barcelona from impact-resistant PMMA acrylic with a thickness of 3 mm, it combines lightness, resistance and durability. The 2mm rounded top edge complies with German TÜV safety regulations and ensures safe use. Each R-Racer disc contains a comprehensive aerodynamic study detailing the improvements in protection and driver performance. No additional parts are required for assembly, and it has a UV resistant treatment to maintain the surface for a long time.
