PRAESIDUS Utah Beach Automatic Steel Sand Blue Leather Military Men's Watch

The Utah Beach Sand Edition, launched alongside our Neptune-44, is a commemorative clock made in direct collaboration with the Utah Beach Landing Museum. The highlight of this edition is the "Higgins" Blue dial, made from real sand collected at UTAH BEACH, one of the five historic D-Day landing zones. The cutout on the upper dial is shaped to recall the Normandy coast, where the five original D-Day landing beaches were located. Each landing site is precisely marked on the dial, offering a detailed visual tribute to the operation. For indexes, we took a creative approach: the upper half of the dial is perforated, allowing the sand below to shine through and act as natural markers. In the bottom half, a transparent layer has plain printed indexes. In this variant of the Higgins Blue dial, these printed indexes contain a large amount of white luminescent material. The caseback features a stylized depiction of one of D-Day's most iconic images, a tribute to the courage and sacrifice demonstrated on June 6, 1944. Each watch is individually numbered on the bottom of the caseback. Created in collaboration with the UTAH BEACH LANDING MUSEUM, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Museum and Veterans Associations attending the 81st Anniversary Ceremony. This watch features a 38mm stainless steel case with water resistance up to 10 ATM, designed to last on the field. It features sword hands treated with Super-Luminova for better readability. A double-dome acrylic glass protects the dial, while the Miyota 9039 automatic movement powers the watch with reliable precision.
