The handle length of these travel rods is the same as the regular PENN boat rods, but the rest of the blank has been converted into three pieces so it can easily fit inside a suitcase. The slim blanks are perfect for drifting lures during wreck fishing and general bottom fishing for cod and pollack. The heavier version is ideal for targeting big halibut. There are three versions of the rod with casting weights: 12-20g, 20-30g, and 30-50g, so there is a rod suitable for almost every boat fishing situation. There is also a 15-40g spin version.
