Lining fabric refers to materials used inside garments to provide a polished finish, add body, weight, warmth, and improve structure. It helps garments slide on easily and adds opacity to sheer fabrics. Linings come in woven and knit varieties, both stretch and non-stretch, to match outer fabrics. High-quality linings are often labeled "anti-static," preventing static buildup between layers for a smoother, more comfortable wear. This is a lovely light weight fabric ideal for dressmaking. This fabric is available in a great variety of colours and weighs approximately 54 grams per square metre. Suggested Washing Instructions: 40 degrees. Please allow 10% shrinkage for all fabrics to be on the safe side and always test a sample first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics. Approx Width: 150cm / 60" - Our fabrics are cut off the roll and will always be sent in one continuous length. If for any reason we cannot send your fabric in one piece we will contact you to discuss the options.
