This adapter allows you to connect a 12+16-pin MACBOOK SSD to an M.2 NGFF M Key port for use as a hard drive or to recover data. THIS MODEL IS SUITABLE FOR MACBOOK AIR OR RETINA 12+16-PIN SSDs. (SSDs installed in Macs after 2013) PCIe type M.2 NGFF M Key connector (not suitable for a port dedicated to SATA type M2!) Ultra-flat socket. Can be used without drivers. The SSD will be recognized by the motherboard as a "normal" M2 SSD. Only suitable for Macbook SSDs with 12+16 pins. Can ONLY be read on an M2 port for AHCI or NVMe type PCIe SSDs. Remember that "Mac" formats are different from "Windows" formats: to read the SSD under Windows, you will need to use specific software (for example, HSF explorer).
