Amazon This adapter enables you to connect a MACBOOK 12+16 POINT SSD to an M.2 NGFF M Key port for use as a hard disk or for data retrieval. THIS MODEL IS SUITABLE FOR MACBOOK AIR OR RETINA 12 + 16-PIN SSD. (SSD fitted to Macs after 2013) PCIe M.2 NGFF M Key connector (not suitable for a dedicated SATA M2 port!) Metal socket Usable without drivers, the SSD will be seen by the motherboard as a "normal" M2 SSD. ONLY suitable for 12+16-pin Macbook SSDs. Can ONLY be read on an M2 port for AHCI or NVMe PCIe SSDs. Don't forget that "Mac" formats are different from "Windows" formats: to read the SSD under Windows, you'll need specific software (e.g. HSF explorer).
