The estate is more than a century old, and the founder of the farm C.H. Godfrey sent the coffee directly from the farm to London during the colonial era. The ornithologist and environmentalist, K.R. Sethna acquired the property in 1973 and placed with this professional background within approx. 15 years the property completely on organic cultivation. The farm is operated by the I.M.O. Organisation regarding organic cultivation and certification. The further processing such as washing, drying and peeling the coffee churches as well as the exportable processing of the green coffee beans is carried out by the also certified "Kotordie Curing".
