The RSC 165, a 2-way 16.5 cm (6.5") high-end component system from ETON, is the new top performer in the top class - thanks to newly developed membrane chnologie. The specially constructed aramid fibre fleece foam paper sandwich membrane of the bass-midrange driver has additional embossed ribbed stiffeners and is very light and extremely stiff. Thanks to its open-pored, soft surface structure, interference is effectively minimised. The diaphragm has an inverted aluminium dustcap and ensures a particularly pleasant, gentle sound image, with a fullness and contour of the extra class. Bass is served powerful and with an explosive dynamic, razor-sharp and accurate to the point! Even in the smallest signal, the membrane convinces: the finest details are reproduced ultra precisely. In addition, there is a voice reproduction with detailed centres for an unprecedented stage depth. The audiophile bass-midrange driver comes in the classic ETON die-cast aluminium basket with double strutsdesign – an extremely flat construction that is easy to install: the RSC 165 fits into the door openings of almost all vehicles! The strong ferrite magnet sits between a CNC turned pole and ground plate and has a large core bore. These and the additional ventilation openings in the basket ensure optimal cooling – even in long-term use The bass-midrange driver is supported by an ultra precise, fine drawing aluminium ceramic 25 mm tweeter. Its 3-layer membrane is very light and maps the finest nuances to the point. Powered by a strong neodymium magnet in the ventilated coupling volume with reflection compensation technology (RCFS) the tweeter is a guarantee for perfect high frequency enjoyment. Efficiency optimised, space-saving cable frequency with level adjustment (0/+2 dB) complete the set. The RSC 165 is made in Germany and can be supplemented with the separately available mid-range RSC 80 (ASIN B0FGJT3B64) to the 3-way system.
