The 10 cm / 4 inch 2-way component system ECP-G4 from the Gravity series by EMPHASER allows accentuated yet warm-sounding sound - without much installation effort. The speaker set is perfect for installation in the dashboard, doors and rear areas of various cars and motorhomes and ensures the best possible sound even in combination with original factory radios. The CRYSTALGRAIN compound diaphragm of the low-midrange driver is responsible for the warmth of the sound, combining the high stiffness and dampening effect of paper with the direct response of quartz crystals attached to the top. The diaphragm strength is chosen to provide the stability for heavy bass attacks and the ease for precise mids. The clean, crisp bass foundation and its level capabilities owes the system to the powerful strontium ferrite magnet. The 25 mm tweeter with fabric dome impresses with its warm sound and can reproduce even the finest music details. The membrane geometry allows for consistent polar pattern for excellent sound in various installation situations. In addition to the low weight of the oscillating unit, the deliberate absence of the use of ferrofluid is responsible for the tweeter playing so vividly, spatially and without discolouration. The components of the crossovers of the speaker set have been defined in intensive test series in the laboratory and in various vehicles in order to achieve the best possible phase position of the components in a small footprint. The result is authentic-looking voices and instruments with precise stage illustration and impressive depth of space. The 12 dB switches are divided into a high frequency and a low frequency branch for easy installation.
