PREPARATION: Soak overnight and put 1 part oat seeds with 4 parts salted water and cook for 1 hour and a half in a traditional saucepan. PROPERTIES: Oats (Avena sativa) are one of the most widely used cereals in food on all continents. Nutritionally it is the cereal that provides the most protein. Its content of slow-absorbing carbohydrates is high. Contains a large amount of soluble and insoluble fiber. It is low in fat but provides polyunsaturated fats highlighting omega-6 and omega-3s.
