Albert Ménès Mountain honey is harvested at altitude on the slopes of the Monts d'Auvergne, France. It has intense aromatic notes, minty and amber. It is governed by a designation regulated by the Ministry of Agriculture, which requires that the hives be installed at altitude (more than 1000 m) and that honey extraction is also carried out in a mountain area, in a fixed workshop. The production of this honey from Montagne d'Auvergne is therefore very artisanal. Honey is a natural product whose texture can change over time. This natural phenomenon called crystallization does not alter the quality of honey. It can be eaten plain, on bread, or to sweeten yogurt or cottage cheese. Albert Ménès is a brand created in 1986, bringing together the best artisan producers with ancestral knowledge. Today Albert Ménès has a range of several specialties, delights from the French provinces.
