Amazon Texture: hard pieces crisp, dry, dusty, crispy until the next, thinner pieces are softer, not grainy or sticky. Soak in water to make it less hard and more earthy. Taste - Raw slate, similar to chewing gum of slate and sandstone but without the grain The taste of sand, cement and a little earth put together, the smell of dusty cellar while chewing. This is a natural product, so the taste and texture differ from order to order.
