Victron Energy Battery Management System, Smart BMS CL 12 100

The Victron Energy Smart BMS CL 12/100 is a battery management system for Victron Energy lithium iron-phosphate (LiFePO4) smart batteries. It has been specially designed for 12V systems with a 12V alternator The BMS CL 12/100 monitors and protects each individual battery cell within the battery (or battery bank), and it will disconnect the alternator, charging sources or DC loads in case of low battery voltage, high battery voltage or overheating The dedicated alternator input limits current and provides one-way circulation from the alternator to the battery, so that an alternator (and starter battery) of any size can safely connect to a lithium battery or smart batteries The BMS is equipped with a remote on/off connector to turn off the BMS through a remote switch and a pre-alarm contact to emit a warning signal before the BMS disconnects the batteries from the system Fireproof: no relays, but MOSFETs, and therefore no sparks
