Benefit from a 10-year guarantee against manufacturing defects on wooden and polypropylene parts Ergonomic Excellence: Variable by Varier Furniture offers unparalleled ergonomic design, based on the renowned balans concept, providing optimal support for your body's natural movements. Its tilted seat reduces pressure on the lower back and promotes better posture, distinguishing it from standard chairs. Variable offers versatile comfort, seamlessly transitioning between kneeling and traditional seating, promoting dynamic sitting. Its curved runners enable gentle rocking, while the tilted seat promotes an open hip angle, maintaining the spine's natural curve. Two cushions beneath the seat support various positions, accommodating shins or feet. With its minimalist design, the chair encourages full-body movement, ensuring every shift of weight brings a new angle of comfort. Intuitive Design: With a minimalist aesthetic and absence of mechanical adjustment parts, Variable stands out for its user-friendly design. Its simplicity makes it easy to use and adjust, appealing to those seeking a hassle-free seating solution that prioritizes comfort and functionality. The original kneeling chair, created by Peter Opsvik in 1979. Opsvik, a Norwegian industrial designer born in 1939, trained at the Bergen College of Applied Art and the Norwegian State College of Applied Art in Oslo. He's freelanced since 1970, currently operating his design studio in Oslo with seven colleagues. Focused on product design to solve real-life problems, Opsvik challenges traditional sitting habits with playful, human-centered solutions, breaking norms of sitting still.
