Tikal Tef Gel screw paste

Tikal Tef-Gel (TK-TG10) is a watertight, PTFE-based paste which prevents metal corrosion and galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals. In all places where more noble metals come into contact with less noble metals (eg. aluminium and stainless steel), a small amount of TIKAL TEF-GEL suffices to prevent galvanic electron exchange and subsequent corrosion. The 40% PTFE content in the screw paste functions as lubricant and insulator. Because Tef-Gel does not dry out, nuts can still be removed easily even years later. As a result, the product provides an impermeable layer that prevents seawater from forming a galvanic cell. Applications Prevents corrosion of screws in aluminum. More environment friendly than comparable products.   Directions for use Use a small brush or plastic spatula to apply a thin layer of Tef-Gel between the metals and in the drilled holes. Also apply the screw paste to the bolts, nuts or rivets. Mount the hardware. Wipe off any excess paste with turpentine or WD-40.
