Whether training rider to trainer or communicating with a motorcyclist in a vehicle, Mesh Intercom™ can provide a stable connection between the Expand Mesh and a variety of Sena devices such as the 50S motorbike communication device.   SEAMLESS MESH INTERCOM™ COMMUNICATION When using the Expand Mesh, you can communicate hands-free with other Sena Mesh Intercom™ users at a distance of up to 400 m (range between two devices) or at a distance of up to 1 km with 6 or more users. The Expand Mesh has both a group mesh mode and an open multi-channel mesh mode that supports 9 channels, allowing users to switch between different groups on different frequencies. Sena's mesh platform also provides the flexibility to operate outside the range of a mesh group while the rest of the group remains connected without interruption.   SLIM & COMFORTABLE DESIGN The Expand Mesh is designed in a low-profile housing that sits comfortably over the user's ears, while still allowing awareness of surrounding sounds. The Expand Mesh has rounded temples directly above the speakers for a secure fit on the head and ears. The unit's low-hanging neckband also allows the user to wear a hat, climbing helmet or goggles while using the Expand Mesh headset.   SMARTPHONE CONNECTIVITY In addition to the built-in intercom, the Expand Mesh also allows Bluetooth® connectivity with a smartphone. Once your smartphone is paired, you can listen to music, get GPS directions, get cues from fitness apps or even take a call. Thanks to Sena's Audio Multitasking™, users can listen to audio from a smartphone and still communicate through the mesh intercom system without interrupting the conversation.
