🎥 OUTPUT DATA: The laser head moves from the centre outwards, moving within the catalogue area, finding the position on the disc by emitting laser light, and the inductive resistor receives the reflected signal and outputs it as electronic data. 🎥 NOTE: The laser head is an important part of the optical drive and the most sophisticated part. It is mainly used for reading data, so take extra care when cleaning the inside of the optical drive. 🎥 USE: When the laser head reads data on a disc, the laser from the laser generator passes through a semi-reflective prism and converges on the objective lens. The objective lens turns the laser light into extremely tiny dots on the disc. 🎥 COMPOSITION: A laser head consists mainly of a laser generator (also known as a laser diode), a semi-reflective prism, an objective lens, a lens and a photodiode. The signals in different directions are defined as "0" or "1", and the photodiode acquires the "0" and "1" data and eventually resolves them into the data we need. 🎥 REFLECTED LIGHT: Since the surface of the disc on which the laser lens records the data is uneven, the direction of the reflected light will be different. The disc has reflective material on it, and the light is reflected back, through the objective lens, and onto a semi-reflective prism. The mirror is semi-reflective and the light beam does not pass completely through the prism but through the lens to the photodiode.
