Description

Amazon Excellent sharpness: the double-sided different grits are used either on the blue side (240 grit) to restore dull or damaged knives or with the fine white 1000 grit to create the perfect sharpening cut. Safe to use: the stone comes on a non-slip bamboo block. Dip the whetstone in lukewarm water for 5 minutes before each use. During this time, the whetstone draws the required moisture for optimal grinding results. Extremely hard corundum: In combination with water, the smallest corundum particles form an abrasive paste, which achieves exceptional sharpness results. Place the block on a straight surface and position the knife at a maximum angle of 20°. Easy to remove the knife edge to sharpen forward and backward. If the knife to be sharpened is very dull or has not been sharpened for a long time, start with the blue rougher side with a subsequent fine grinding on the fine white side of the stone. Use the entire grinding stone surface to ensure even and even wear of the stone over the years. After sharpening, rinse the whetstone with clean water and dry it slightly. Then let the stone dry completely.
