King Tiger – The Tiger II, also known as the king tiger, was developed in 1943 and produced in series by Henschel from 1944. The King Tiger combines exceptionally strong armour protection with high firepower. The front armor could not penetrate bullets from enemy tanks as it had a thickness of up to 150 mm. The side armor of the tub design was up to 80mm thick Robust – despite massive bombing attacks by the Allies on the Henschel factory in Kassel, a total of 492 Tiger II tanks were delivered to the troop, including prototypes and 50 vehicles with the Porsche tower. However, not all tanks reached the front bandages, as some were lost due to drive problems due to the heavy weight or simply due to lack of fuel Fine surface details – the model kit of the Tiger II contains a new tool shape with fine surface details, a rotating tower with height-adjustable cannon and injection moulded chains. The hatches of the tower can be displayed open. However, please note that the Zimmerit, an anti-mine coating, is not included Authentic representation – the model kit allows the authentic representation of two different versions of the Tiger II tank. One version represents the Heavy Tank Division 503 on the Eastern Front in Hungary in October 1944, while the other version represents the Heavy Tank Division 506 on the Western Front in March 1945 Box contents: the box contents include the kit of the model, building instructions and decals to personalise the model according to the desired versions
