PoE Multi Net Protector Rack

The AXON PoE MultiNET Protector family is designed to provide surge protection of data transmission in the 10/100 Mbps Ethernet systems and is especially designed to protect modems, routers and repeaters, that are powered remotely through PoE technology i.e. through unused pairs of wires in the transmission cable. Depending on the version, it has 4 or 12 independent channels, providing protection of the signal and power lines in one device. Contains two groups of lines in each channel – data lines (lines 1-2, 3-6) and power supply lines (lines 4 + 5, 7 + 8). Both of them are protected by surge arrester. In order to increase the load capacity of the power supply circuit, the line 4 is shorted out with the line 5, as well as the line 7 with the line 8. It has a metal housing that is designed for mounting in the 19-inch rack cabinets.
