The rose hip fruits are harvested in nature in the Carpathians, a region where there is no industry, which ensures healthy growth of the fruit. In addition, the raw material is sieved and cleaned to meet the strict expectations of our customers. The fruits are dried in two steps - first at 30°C, and then briefly at a higher temperature (40°C). This ensures the protection of the useful active ingredients and the preservation of the raw material. The berry has a spherical or elliptical shape, is 25-50 mm long and has a red to dark red colour. The fruits are harvested after hardening, usually from October to late November. The most important active ingredients are flavonoids and organic acids. Rosehip berries are a component of many tinctures, gins, marinades and jams. Attention: Before eating, it is important to remove the so-called "rosehip hair" from the inside of the fruit. Air dried, no stems. European origin, from the wild. Organic, examined in an EU laboratory.
