Oltresole - Linden Honey 250g Artisan Italian Beekeeping in Light Amber Colour and Fresh, Sweet Aromatic Mint Like Flavour, Ideal Together with Aged Cheeses

Linden Honey Oltresole is an Italian artisan product. It is obtained from the flowers of the homonymous plant, widespread in our peninsula, especially in the Alps, up to 1500 m, and in the Po Valley, from where in particular the honey of Oltresole. The lime honey comes in a rather light, amber colour, with the possibility of seeing reflections tending to yellow-green in its purest varieties. Like all types of honey, it naturally tends to crystallization, although for linden it is a rather slow operation. Once crystallized, the lime honey becomes ivory-white. The taste restores a fresh, sweet, aromatic flavor reminiscent of mountain herbs and mint, while retaining a certain intensity and persistence. Perfect in all combinations with sage and ideal for sweetening cooked fruit, excellent combined with aged cheeses.
