The heavy duty version of the Offgridtec 2-way ceiling cable gland is available in black. Made from robust ABS plastic and equipped with an IP68 screw-on connection, it is ideal for use in mobile applications such as cars, motorhomes or boats. This ceiling cable gland is particularly suitable for areas with medium mechanical stress, such as occasional access during maintenance work or cleaning processes. Compared to the lightweight version, four times more ABS plastic has been used here to ensure greater stability. The socket is suitable for cables with an outer diameter of 3-12 mm. Due to the varying thickness of the cable insulation, it is not possible to provide accurate information on the proper cross-section of the cable. In combination with PEG cable glands, the cable gland offers reliable protection against moisture and dust if it is well attached. The cable glands comply with the protection class IP68 and are included in the scope of delivery. For fixing it is recommended to use the Dekalin MS-5 adhesive set (not included in the scope of delivery).
