NOPO CONTROL: Improves the breakdown of nitrate (NO3) and phosphate (PO4) in all saltwater and freshwater aquariums. This means that even high nitrate and phosphate levels can be reduced quickly and effectively. PUSHES BACTERIA: The solution of selected hydrocarbons maximises the performance of the bacteria present in the aquarium, thereby increasing nitrate reduction and the associated phosphate reduction. IN COMBINATION WITH BASIC P & N: Since the bacteria in the aquarium require phosphate as an energy source to carry out important biological processes, they always break down nitrate and phosphate at the same time. Limiting both substances is harmful to the plants and corals in the aquarium and also causes bacteria to almost completely stop carrying out biological processes. Therefore, balance phosphate and nitrate with ARKA - Basic P and Basic N as needed. APPLICATION: Start with a daily addition of 2 ml NOPO Control per 100 litres of water and increase this as required to a maximum of 10 ml per 100 litres of water until a reduction in nutrient values can be measured. Maintain the selected dosage until the desired nutrient values are achieved and then adjust as necessary to keep the values stable.
