Amazon Nitecore today announced the launch of the NU20 Classic, an ultra-light outdoor headlamp. This launch revisits the classic design first introduced in 2016 with the NU20, and its successor the NU25 in 2017, which pushed the limits of the lightweight design of professional outdoor headlights to new heights, gaining broad recognition from fans and professional media. The NU20 Classic maintains this iconic design and features an ultra high efficiency UHE LED, combining traditional design with advanced LED technology for better performance. Weighing only 38g, the NU20 Classic is made from lightweight PC materials and features a reflective yet lightweight tape for an almost imperceptible feel during outdoor activities. It is designed to minimize weight for convenient use. The headlamp includes the new UHE LED, the latest innovation in the NITECORE headlight range, which offers a 16.6% increase in light efficiency compared to the XP-G2 LED used in the NU25. This new LED torch supports a delicate balance of brightness, range and efficiency in a compact design, delivering up to 360 lumens with a range of 109 m, which is a 35% improvement over the NU25. Designed for comfort, it features soft light with gradual lighting transitions that are pleasing to the eye, even during prolonged use. Answering popular demand, NU20 Classic introduces a USB-C port, replacing the old micro-USB, available to share a charging cable with most devices. The NU20 Classic also has a high CRI auxiliary white light (CRI ≥ 90) and auxiliary red light. Maintains the NU25's dual button design and user interface and offers IP66 dust and water resistance with 1m drop protection.
