Intense and full – that's why we love it: we introduce you to the most intense of Vertuo coffees, in the cup size Gran Lungo – the Fortado. Its Indian Robusta unfolds with full power, while Colombian Arabica rounds off the blend with its cocoa and oak notes. Origin – The dry-processed Robusta from India results in a coffee of the highest quality with unsurpassed intensity and full body. The cocoa and oak notes come from the washed Colombian Arabica coffee we add to Robusta. The Vertuo Fortado is a blend of Arabica and Robusta beans that unfolds at full power. Roasting – The coffee in this Vertuo coffee capsule is roasted separately. This gives it the powerful intensity of the Robusta without a harsh note. This intensity produces a long roasting of Indian Robustas at medium temperatures. The Arabica is dark and roasted for a long time to develop the intense cocoa and oak notes. Aroma profile: this Vertuo coffee owes its intensity and full body primarily to Robusta. In addition, the Robusta gives the Fortado a dense coffee cream. However, the distinctive character of cocoa and oak notes that characterise this coffee comes from the Colombian Arabica in the blend.
