"Cassia acutifolia Del", also called senna tea laxative, is known in folk medicine as a good laxative. The herb has a late effect (8-12 hours after ingestion). The sennosides in the leaves have a laxative effect by increasing intestinal peristalsis, which is why they are used for bowel cleansing and for the short-term treatment of constipation Detoxification tea for weight loss – The senna tea leaves contain anthranoids, mainly sennosides A to D (the dianthron glyansides); flavonoids, bitter and mucous substances. Sennosides irritate the colon mucosa and cause muscle contraction, which leads to bowel movements ten hours after ingestion. The result is that the body cleans itself much more easily from toxins, which can support weight loss. Instructions for use: put 1-2 tea bags in 250-300ml of pre-boiled water and let steep for 7-8 minutes. It is best to take before bedtime. Ingredients per bag 1.5 g: 33% senna leaves, 67% senna fruits, EU and non-EU agriculture. Contains no genetically modified compounds, preservatives and dyes Dosirung: The herb has a late effect (8-12 hours after ingestion), it is recommended to take in the evening and take it no longer than 2 weeks without a break. Please consult your doctor if you intend to use it longer than the recommended application time. With prolonged use, the laxative effect decreases. Caution: The herb should not be ingested, for unknown abdominal pain without medical diagnosis, symptoms of dehydration, intestinal obstruction (impassability in the intestine), appendicitis and inflammatory bowel diseases. While taking motherwort, a change in the urine colour (discolouration) is possible. So far, there is not sufficient data on the intake of senna by pregnant and lactating women and children under 12 years, which is why it is not recommended.
