MWC It has been producing W10 models for decades, but this particular model is a significantly updated version of the original design of the 60s/70s. Maintains the classic exterior appearance while incorporating modern enhancements. The most notable upgrades are a higher water resistance of 100m (330 feet), which brings it to contemporary standards, and a screw-down crown, which reduces the risk of the crown being lost or damaged if snagged. The Automatic W10 has a sturdy stainless steel case with satin finish made of military-grade 316L stainless steel, designed to withstand extreme conditions. The watch also includes a second hand, a black dial and luminous indices. Featuring a high-performance 24 ruby self-winding movement, this watch offers a 41-hour reserve and can be manually wound if not used daily. In addition, the current watch has a screw back for easier maintenance. The history of the W10 models is quite interesting. The manual winding version of this self-winding W10 was the predecessor of the G10/98 quartz models used by today's armed forces. Interestingly, in 1980 the British MOD had a plan to keep this case model with a quartz movement, but the quartz movements were too thick to fit the case.
