Mirka DEXOS 1217 M AFC

The Mirka DEXOS 1217 M is a brand new vacuum cleaner with a compact, ergonomic and user-friendly design. Designed to be part of Mirka’s next generation of power tools, the Mirka DEXOS has a range of smart features to make sanding easier and more efficient for the user. With a powerful and long-life brushless electric motor, the Mirka DEXOS 1217 M AFC is quiet yet impressive. Power level is easily selected from the backlit control panel in the front of the dust extractor, together with hose diameter adjustment, auto-start functionality on two sockets and Bluetooth pairing.  Handling the new Mirka DEXOS 1217 M could not be easier. The easily ma-neuverable Mirka DEXOS contains space for storing the included 4m hose and cables. It is compatible with Mirka Case, Toolbox, and existing Mirka hoses. The dust extractor in-cludes two power outlets for tools and it is suitable for both wet and dry use. The dust bag in the 17-litre container can be changed or removed without the need to unclip storage boxes fastened on top of the dust extractor. When transporting the DEXOS, it can be secured in place with a brake pedal. Automatic Filter Cleaning  Automatic Filter Cleaning is a feature designed to automatically clean the filters of the dust extractor, ensuring optimal performance and maintaining suction power. This helps to prevent clogging and prolongs the life of the filters, making the dust extractor more efficient and easier to maintain. Additional functionality of the AFC can be customized through myMirka app. Brushless motor Since a brushless motor doesn’t have brushes to wear out, it typically has a longer lifespan, requires less maintenance, and is more reliable in the long term. Without brushes causing friction and wear, less energy is wasted as heat and mechanical losses. The higher power-to-weight ratio means smaller and lighter motors for the same power output. Brushless motors also offer more precise control over speed and torque, generating less electromagnetic interference (EMI), making them highly suitable for electronic devices and sensitive equipment. Autostart function (for 2 sockets) Thanks to the Autostart function, the vacuum cleaner starts automatically when the connected power tool is switched on.
