In 1928, Milton J. Holloway hired F. Hoffman & Company of Chicago, the original manufacturer of milk duds chocolate coated caramels. The name of Milk Duds was born because the original idea was to have a perfectly round piece. As this was found impossible, the word "duds" was used. The word "milk" was used to reflect the large amount of milk in the product. Ingredients: Corn Syrup, Sugar, Palm Oil, Non-Fatty Milk, Estrose, Vegetable Oil, Palm Oil, Shea Oil, Sunflower Oil.
