Matcha Green Tea

A composition of selected tea leaves, refined with matcha. Very aromatic, with bright green cup. This Sencha is a so-called Matcha Iri ( 入 or 入 入 入 ), i.e. a green tea refined with matcha powder. In the village of Hoshino on Kyushu Island, tea has been cultivated for 800 years. The place owes its name to its clear air, which allows the observation of the stars. The area is ideal for tea cultivation because of its pure nature. Hoshino belongs to the Yame tea region, known for teas of a special sweetness and mildness. The creator of this Sencha, tea master Shinya Yamaguchi, has achieved the highest rank for Japanese tea masters at a young age. The Sencha "Matcha Iri" is another testament to his outstanding skills.
