Perfect cut for infusions, herbal blends and tinctures. Why is it called marshmallow? The most valuable components of marshmallow root (Althea radix) are mucosal components that include galacturonic acid, galactose, glucose, pectin, sucrose and starch. The mucus contained in the raw material is easily dissolved in water. After its consumption, the mucosa covers the throat and stomach with a thin layer. Our herbs are dried in gas dryers, ensuring that the right temperature will be maintained throughout the drying process, and the product is not exposed to carbon or smoke (which is common in small businesses). The leaves are dried in two stages - first at 30 ° C, and then for a short time at a higher temperature (40 ° C maximum), which guarantees the protection of the active beneficial substances and preservation of the raw material. Our marshmallow is harvested in central and eastern Poland, in non-industrial regions, ensuring healthy leaves and roots growth. In our regions there are the perfect climatic conditions for the growth and maturation of the marshmallow root, therefore our product has high levels of bioactive components and also contains flavonoids and organic acids. The raw material is well sieved, well dried and cut so that it meets customers' requirements. Works as a complement to tea, herbs and fruit infusions.
