WHY CHOOSE A WOODEN ROD: A wooden rod immediately gives a cosy atmosphere in the room where it is located. A wooden curtain rod is timeless. It can be varnished or stained oak, but also painted white, grey, or black to suit different interior styles. The wooden curtain rod can be installed in any room of the house, bedroom, living room, office, but also and why not, in a commercial sector. In addition, you will find in this listing several colour choices for your wooden rod as well as different sizes. HOW TO CALCULATE THE LENGTH OF A CURTAIN ROD: Which length to choose? When installing a wooden curtain rod above a window, door, or above a bay window, you should take some steps beforehand. For a successful and harmonious installation, the wooden curtain rod must protrude approximately 15 to 25 cm on each side of your window. Leave at least 5 cm above the window so as not to interfere with the opening. With these elements, you will be able to calculate the ideal length of the wooden curtain rod you need. Maximum length: 2 m. WHAT DIAMETER: The wooden curtain rod has a diameter of 28 mm. It is the ideal diameter for any kind of curtain finish (tabs, eyelets, rings...), the most common finishes. In addition, this diameter of wooden rod, sufficiently thick, will ensure a longevity over time. The diameter diameter of 35 mm, for a wooden curtain rod is a little big, the curtain legs as well as the curtain eyelets have difficulty sliding on the rod. The diameter Ø 20 mm for a wooden curtain rod is a bit light. The bar can be folded with the weight of heavy curtains. The diameter Ø 28 mm is the best compromise. ACCESSORIES SUPPLIED: This wooden curtain rod set is complete. You will find the wooden bar, with 2 matching end caps, as well as 2 matching cradle supports, length 11 cm. Finally, the classic screws and dowels are included in the wooden curtain rod kit, for easy installation.
