Amazon Gradually Expandable Nest Design:This ant nest is designed for small colonies that need controlled space at the beginning and gradual expansion as the colony grows. Stainless steel partition inserts allow you to start with only two small chambers and open more nesting areas later. Built in Water Reservoir:The nest includes a large built in water reservoir that can be filled directly with the included pipette. The transparent front section allows you to check the water level easily during daily maintenance. Suitable for Dry Keeping Species:For Camponotus ants, harvester ants, and other species that prefer a drier nesting environment, the reservoir can be left completely dry. Drinking water can be provided separately in the outworld through the external water feeder. External Trash Area and Water Feeder:The outworld supports an external trash box and a test tube water feeder through 10 mm connection holes. This helps keep the nesting area cleaner and makes daily feeding and maintenance easier. Clear Acrylic Observation and Modular Expansion:The clear acrylic cover panels allow easy observation of the colony. The bottom expansion hole can be sealed with the included rubber plug or used later for connecting additional ant keeping modules when the colony becomes larger.
