Lukoum is a Turkish confectionery sprinkled with icing sugar and sometimes topped with dried fruits, as here with pistachio. This small, soft and elastic sweet cube is a traditional delicacy of Turkish gastronomy. It is enjoyed at tea or coffee time in the Middle East and the Maghreb.
