The cold spring air and the intense sunshine contribute to a unique quality in the first flush area. With summer temperatures of 23°C to 25°C during the day and 15°C to 19°C at night, the Puttabong Estate offers the perfect environment for growing tea. The plant stock consists of 65% Thea Sinensis and 35% Thea Assamica, resulting in an incomparable taste experience. On a total of 892 hectares of land, only 437 hectares are farmed to ensure that each tea bush is optimally cared for. The sandy loamy soils with a pH of 4.5 to 5.5 ensure healthy growth of tea leaves.
