Step 2: Prepare the food you want (always use fresh ingredients, not frozen or thawed). Step 3: Cook food to be preserved (follow the recipe). Step 4: Glasses up to the filling line approx. Fill 2 cm below the rim. Wait a few minutes for the mass to settle without air bubbles. Step 5: Close jars tightly (use a new mason gum each time). Please make sure there are no particles between the rubber and the lid as this may cause your cooked food to spoil. Depending on the recipe, use vinegar, oil or salt as a preservative. Step 6: Heat treatment: put a clean cloth into the bottom of the pressure cooker to avoid direct contact between glass and metal. Fill pot with water and place on a heat source. Once the water boils, place jars in the pot (the jars must be completely covered). Close the pressure cooker. When steam emits measure the cooking time indicated in the recipe. Then remove the pot from the heat source and allow to cool naturally (cooling down too quickly can cause the seal of the jars to open). Store the filled mason jars in a dry, dark place. Step 7: Make sure the jars are tightly closed by opening the latch and pulling the lid (the vacuum inside the jars should ensure that the lid does not open) If the lid can be opened, this can be caused by various causes, e.g. such as too short a cooking time, too low a temperature or particles between sealing rubber and lid. In this case, repeat the preserving process with a new sealing rubber. If you use Le Parfait Familial Wiss terrines, please check the lid in the same way, the capsule should stick firmly to the terrine. If the capsule does not stick, repeat the preservation process using a new capsule. Leave the locking mechanism open to keep your cooked food for several months. Store in a dry and cool place out of direct sunlight.Step 8: Open mason jars. First check if the jars are still vacuum sealed, if not, stop consuming the food. Pull the sealing rubber so that air can enter the glass and remove the seal. Features: Le Parfait products are characterised by their durability and simplicity. The advantages of glasses and terrines: an original shape that is recognizable. The orange rubber seal is the hallmark of this brand.
