The Kronsegler solar phase display: a rotating disc shows the 24-hour cycle of the sun in a fascinating play of colours from deep red to bright orange to the black of the night. White stars on a dark blue background complement the extraordinary display. Automatic movement: the mechanical movement KS029.026 offers 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), 26 rubies and over 40 hours power reserve when fully wound. With solar phase, power reserve and date display as well as hours, minutes and seconds. Sapphire glass and 5 bar waterproof: the 42 mm and 12 mm high case made of 316L stainless steel is equipped with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a screwed glass base that reveals the view of the mechanical movement. Water resistant to 5 bar (50 m). Precise mechanism: the 180° movement allows the positioning of the solar phase display on the upper dial. The left-sided crown improves wearing comfort as it does not press against the back of the hand. Unique design: a plastically designed dial in two levels, curved hands and a finely brushed stainless steel case characterise the character of the Solaris.
