NEPTUN II, successor model of NEPTUN (2004), is a flat automatic watch with particularly bright 30-layer Swiss Superluminova BGW9 grade A luminous indexing. The maritime design of the dial with nautical flag indexes remained almost unchanged. The colours white, blue and the Pacific green typical of Kronsegler have also been retained. That being said, the series has received some interesting upgrades. The men's watch is now powered by the modern and even more precise automatic movement K029.024, which is a "fast oscillator" with 28,800 A/H (4 Hz) mounted on 24 rubies. The extremely flat movement is equipped with a modified date display at 3 o'clock. Thanks to this movement, the watch has a thickness of only 10.6 mm at 41.5 mm diameter. The soft rounded housing looks very slim. The curved watch glass is a K1 glass with special scratch resistance and a hardness of 8.5 MOHS. Super strong luminous hands and numbers: Superluminova BGW9 has a white shade in daylight. In the dark, it turns to a light blue. The luminosity is approx. 95 percent in direct comparison with Superluminova C3 (currently brightest known luminouse). However, the light duration of BGW9 is sprayably higher than that of Superluminova C3, which makes BGW9 the best equipment for watches.
