Tests whether all contactors on a DDR3 DIMM, DDR4 DIMM or DDR5 RDIMM or UDIMM array are active and in good condition. Instant visual test thanks to a tray of LEDs. The plate has four ports: one port for DDR 3 DIMM type / one port for DDR 4 DIMM type / one port for DDR 5 RDIMM type / one port for DDR 5 UDIMM type. To operate, the tester needs to be powered, either from a USB power supply (cable supplied), or by inserting a CR2032 battery in the slot provided. A switch allows you to select the type of power supply. Once a terminal strip has been inserted, you should not notice any anomalies; all LEDs should light up in the same way. A flashing LED indicates a false contact, an unlit LED indicates an open circuit, and a highlighted LED indicates a short circuit. No special skills are required, just watch the LEDs!
